Hubert is a friend of Mr. Bean who only appeared in Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean. He is played by Robert Austin
He attends Mr. Bean's New Year's Eve gathering with Rupert, however, the party doesn't go to plan, leading the men to trick Bean into leaving and attending a bigger party next door. Hubert also leaves his hat behind in Bean's flat.
Hubert is later seen again, when he returns to Bean's flat to collect his hat, unaware that Bean had wrapped everything in newspaper and put an explosive firecracker in a can of white pan. While collecting his hat, Hubert gets caught in the blast and leaves behind a trail of white footprints, and a silhouette of him reaching out for his hat, which confuses Bean when he sees it.
